Lara Schmid helped No. 15 Washburn women's tennis to a 3-0 week all against ranked opponents with a 6-0 week for the senior combined between singles and doubles. Schmid and Maja Jung combined to go 3-0 from No. 1 doubles in the week including a 6-4 win over No. 8 ranked Greta Wallin and Annika Berrendorf of Southern Arkansas. In singles play Schmid went 3-0 from No. 6, winning each duel in three sets over opponents from No. 41 Missouri Western, No. 39 Southeastern Oklahoma State and No. 12 Southern Arkansas.
