TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Lady Blues took a 9-0 decision over Newman in action at the Washburn Tennis Complex. Washburn will be in action on Wednesday at Hays against the Lady Tigers before they host the MIAA Tennis Tournament at Kossover Tennis Center.

Washburn dropped only one game in doubles play storming out to a 3-0 lead. In singles action, Washburn won four of the singles flights 6-0, 6-0 cruising to the win.
