Season Stats

TOPEKA, Kan. -- The No. 29 ranked Washburn Lady Blues tennis team fell to No. 31 ranked Northwest Missouri at Kossover Tennis Center. The loss dropped the Lady Blues to 8-3 overall and 3-1 in the MIAA. Washburn will be in action on Friday at Fort Hays State.

Washburn started out the match in the hole after dropping two of three doubles matches with the lone win coming at No. 1 doubles as Diana Goldsmith and Amber Raindl won their match 8-5.

In singles play, Raindl was the only Lady Blue to pick up a point as the Bearcats took five of the six singles matches. Goldsmith and Rachel Stevens dropped their matches at No. 1 and No. 5 respectively in three sets.
