LAIE - Hawaii - The Lady Blues gave up a goal midway through the first half and it proved to be the game-winner in a 1-0 loss at BYU-Hawaii to open the season Friday. The Lady Blues will stay on the islands and play Hawaii Pacific Saturday to finish the opening weekend.

Margaret Sekona received a cross from Emily Mearns and shot it in for a goal at 26:52 to give BYUH (1-0) a big enough cushion for a win.
