TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Lady Blues fell 6-3 to the Midwestern State Mustangs in tennis action on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Blues (3-1) will be back in action this weekend when they will take on Cameron, Dallas Baptist, East Central and Northeastern State this weekend in regional play.
The Lady Blues fell behind 2-1 after doubles play as the team of
Trang Le Nguyen and
Abbey Sharpe picked up a point at No. 1 doubles.
Whitley Zitsch (at No. 2 singles) and
Abbey Sharpe (at No. 3 singles) picked up the pair of points in singles action for Washburn.
