Henry's last second goal pushes WU to overtime tie

JOPLIN, Mo. -- Washburn's Lauren Henry scored a match-tying goal with one second remaining in regulation pushing the Lady Blues to a 1-1 double overtime tie at Missouri Southern on Saturday. Washburn will be back in action next Saturday when they will play host to Nebraska-Omaha.

Henry's equalizer on an assist from Megan Buckley at the 89:59 mark of the match tied the score at 1-1 after the Lions scored the first goal of the match in the 62nd minute on a goal by Shannon Kuhn.

Ashley Klone had seven saves in net for Washburn. Henry had 10 shots in the match leading Washburn to an 18 to 16 advantage. Six of Henry's shots were on goal.

In the overtime periods, Washburn was outshot 5-2.
