SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Washburn Lady Blues tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to No. 21-ranked Drury Sunday morning at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo. The Lady Blues will be back in action March 4 when they will play host to Nebraska-Kearney.

The Lady Blues fell behind 3-0 after doubles play. Washburn's only win of the match came at No. 2 singles when Morgan Rainey defeated former Lady Blue Abbey Sharpe 6-0, 6-4. The other five flghts were straight-set losses for Washburn.
