WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- The No. 34 ranked Washburn Lady Blues were topped in a heartbreaking 5-4 loss to No. 38 ranked Midwestern State on the road. The Lady Blues will be back in action on Monday against Dallas Baptist.

Washburn was down 3-0 after doubles play and then rallied to tie the match score at 4-4 with the No. 5 singles match remaining between Holly Gudnerson and Annie Doole with the Mustangs taking the win in a three-set thriller 3-6, 7-6 (8-6), 7-5.
