TOPEKA, Kan. -- The No. 22-ranked Washburn Ichabod tennis team swept doubles action jumping out to an early lead and never looked back as they defeated No. 31-ranked Southwest Baptist 5-1 at Wood Valley Tennis Center in Topeka. Washburn will be back in action in an exhibition match against Cowley County on March 30 in Emporia.

After taking all three doubles matches, Branden Joost picked up a straight-set win over SBU's Marton Zsiga 6-4, 6-0 and Yann Kasay wrapped up the match with a 7-6, 6-1 win over the Bearcats' Jorge Palacios.
