TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabod tennis team picked up their first win of the season in a 5-0 win over Nebraska-Kearney at the Wood Valley Tennis Center.
The Ichabods dropped only eight games in doubles action as the No. 3 team of
Emmanuel Laurent and
Simon Blondin won their match 8-0.
It was all Ichabods in singles wins as Lauren and
Branden Joost each won their match to close out the evening in straight sets.
