TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Lady Blues tennis team improved to 3-1 on the season with a 6-1 win over Newman at the Wood Valley Tennis Center in Topeka. Washburn will be back in action on March 11 when they will open MIAA play with Fort Hays State in Topeka.
