MIAA Tennis Championship Website | Ichabod Season Stats

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Washburn Ichabod tennis team topped Southwest Baptist 5-2 in the MIAA Tournament semifinals and will take on Northwest Missouri in a match beginning approximately 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon in Kansas City at the Clayview Country Club.

Washburn swept all three doubles matches taking a 3-0 lead entering singles play. Southwest Baptist picked up its lone two points and No. 1 and No. 2 singles while Simon Blondin won his No. 3 singles match 6-1, 6-2 over Jorge Margiotta and Adam Rens wrapped up the match with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 win over Brandon Finerty.
