HAYS, Kan. -- The Washburn Lady Blues saw their 2011 season come to an end with a 2-0 loss at Fort Hays State in a non-conference match up. Washburn ends the season 1-14-3 overall and 1-5-1 in conference play.

The Tigers scored 1:56 into the match when Rachel Wiesen scored her second goal of the season on an assist from Joanne Glynn. The Tigers added a second goal in the 35th minute when Glynn scored her ninth goal of the season on an assist from Margaret Meier.

Washburn was out shot 15 to 7 in the match including the Tigers holding a 5 to 1 advantage in the second half.

Danielle Curtis had two of the Lady Blues' three shots on goal. Tori Schimming attempted the other for the Lady Blues. Mallorie Monhollon had five saves in net for Washburn.

The match was the final Lady Blues appearances for seniors Lauren Henry and Kelsey Raiman.
