OMAHA, Neb. -- The Washburn Ichabod netters blasted the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks 9-0 in their MIAA opener in action late Saturday night. Washburn, the No. 33-ranked team in the country and No. 9-ranked team in the region improved to 4-2 on the season.

The Ichabods rolled through doubles play and then took each of the six singles matches in straight sets cruising to the win.
