Season Stats

EMPORIA, Kan. -- The Washburn Lady Blues tennis team remained perfect in MIAA play after topping Emporia State 5-4 improving to 4-0 in MIAA play and 7-3 overall.

Washburn led 2-1 after doubles play and picked up three singles wins to wrap up the victory keeping its conference record spotless. Alyssa Castillo's win at No. 5 singles turned out to be the clincher as ESU picked up wins at Nos. 1, 6 and 3 to close the match.

Washburn will be back in action on April 6 when they will face Northwest Missouri.
