KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Washburn Ichabod tennis team fell 6-3 to No. 35 ranked Rockhurst 6-3 at the Loyola Park Tennis Courts in Kansas City. Washburn will have a short turn around as they will return to MIAA action hosting Truman at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Topeka.

Washburn (6-7) picked up a single win at No. 2 doubles to open the match as Bobby Florence and Matthew Leffler won their match before starting singles play. In singles action, Pacal Laucht won his No. 2 singles match in three sets and Florence picked up his second win of the day at No. 5 singles topping Pawel Grzegrzolka in three sets.
