WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Washburn Lady Blues dropped a 4-0 decision in their final match of the Central Missouri Jennies Classic. Washburn will open the MIAA season on Thursday when they will play host to Central Missouri at 6 p.m. in Yager Stadium.

Washburn (0-4-1) allowed three first half goals to Dallas Baptist. Courtney Baxter scored her second goal of the season in the 14th minute. Brittany Layne scored in the 26th minute and Lea Sedwick added a goal before the half stretching their lead to 3-0 entering the halftime break.

DBU's Kourtney Edwards added a goal in the 68th minute wrapping up the scoring for the Patriots.

Washburn was out shot 13 to 5 in the match. Tia Stovall and Lauren Henry had the two lone shots on goal for Washburn and each had two shots overall. Mallorie Monholln (0-2-0) allowed gave up three first half goals and was relived by Tori Fuglister who allowed the fourth DBU goal of the match.
