Season Stats

TULSA, Okla. -- The Washburn Lady Blues tennis team fell 5-4 to Arkansas-Fort Smith in tennis action to drop to 1-2 on the season. The Lady Blues will be back in action on March 1 when they host Nebraska-Kearney.

Arkansas-Fort Smith jumped ahead 2-1 after doubles play and the Lady Blues could not recover as the Lions split the six remaining singles flights fo secure the 5-4 win.

Washburn picked up a win at No. 3 doubles when Sophie O'Neill and Annie Doole picked up an 8-6 win. Whitley Zitsch won her match at No. 4 singles and Alyssa Castillo at No. 5 and Kristin McKee won at No. 6 singles.
