SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Washburn Lady Blues tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Drury on Friday night in their season opener. The Lady Blues will continue play on Saturday against Lindenwood.

The Lady Blues were swept in doubles action and Whitley Zitsch picked up a win at No. 3 singles topping Jelena Schaeftlmeier 0-6, 6-2, 10-8.
