TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabods opened their home slate with a 7-2 win over Nebraska-Kearney at Wood Valley Thursday night. Washburn will be back in action on Saturday against DIvision I Illinois-Chicago.

The Ichabods started off by taking two of three doubles matches and then locked the match up taking the final five of six singles matches to improve to 3-1 on the season.
