TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabods fell 7-2 to No. 24 Southwest Baptist in their MIAA opener Friday afternoon at the Washburn Tennis Complex. The Ichabods will be back in action on Saturday against Division I Nebraska Omaha in Topeka.

The Ichabods picked up wins at No. 3 doubles when Dario Munoz-Paletti and Steven Fletcer teammed to beat Jorge Palacious and Tyler Welch 8-2 and then Chance Joost picked a 7-5, 6-1 win over Welch at No. 6 singles.
