KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Washburn Ichabod tennis team fell 5-2 to Southwest Baptist in the semifinals of the MIAA Tournament and will now face Truman in the third-place match at 9 a.m. on Sunday at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City.

The Ichabods were down 2-1 after doubles play as the No. 3 team of Steven Fletcher and Dario Munoz picked up an 8-5 win over Alex Belote and Jorge Palacios. Washburn's other point came from Chance Joost after he topped Belote 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
