• The Washburn Ichabod soccer team will look to increase the current six-match unbeaten streak they are riding as they will host Emporia State and Missouri Southern in the final two regular season home matches of the season.
• The Ichabods will honor nine seniors on Friday prior to the start of the Missouri Southern match.
• The match with Emporia State will be a non-conference match.
• The Ichabods fell in the MIAA match with the Hornets 2-0 on Sept. 20.
• The Ichabods (8-5-1, 5-2-1 MIAA) have allowed only three goals in their last six matches.
• The six-game unbeaten streak is the longest for the Ichabods since an eight-game unbeaten streak from Oct. 1 to Oct. 23 during the 2008 season when they went 7-0-1.
• Washburn's eight wins this season is the most since the Ichabods had eight during the 2009 season.
• The Ichabods are tied for second in the MIAA standings entering the week with 16 points, three points behind Central Missouri.

Lara Doescher connected on a penalty kick with 18 seconds left to spot Washburn to a 2-1 win at Lindenwood handing the Lady Lions their first MIAA loss of the season.Â
Washburn was awarded the penalty kick opportunity with 18 seconds remaining in the match when
Caysie Beetley was taken down inside the box.
Lara Doescher then stepped up and sent the ball into the right hand side of the net for the winning goal putting Washburn up 2-1. It was Doescher's third goal of the season.
Washburn's Beetley put the Ichabods up 1-0 with her third goal of the season breaking a scoreless halftime tie off an assist from
Cadence Bourne in the 46th minute. The Lady Lions would tie the score in the 62nd minute when Kat Roe scored her sixth goal of the season on an assist from Bailey Cody.
Tori Fuglister picked up the win in net recording seven saves while facing 21 shots in the win.
Both teams had 21 shots in the match with Washburn putting 10 on goal compared to eight for Lindenwood.
