The team were tied at 0-0 at the break, but the RIverHawks Emily Voges scored her first goal of the season in the 54th minute. NSU added a second goal in the 78th minute stretching the lead to 2-0 enroute to the win.

Caysie Beetley had four shots to lead Washburn's attack. Megan Buckley had two shots with one coming on goal. Overall the RiverHawks outshot the Ichabods 14 to 12 with a 6 to 4 advantage in shots on goal. Tori Fuglister had four saves in net for Washburn.
