• The Washburn Ichabod soccer team will make its first MIAA Tournament appearance since the 2007 season when they will host Nebraska-Kearney at 7 p.m. on Nov. 5 in Yager Stadium.Â
• All tickets will be $5 for anyone over the age of six.
• The MIAA did not host a postseason tournament after the 2008-2010 seasons.
• Washburn will be the No. 4 seed while the Lopers are the No. 5 seed. Washburn and Nebraska-Kearney played to a double overtime 0-0 draw in their only meeting this season in Topeka on Oct. 6.
• The Ichabods' fourth-place finish was ahead of the 10th-place from the preseason coaches poll.
• The semi-finals are slated for 4 and 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 from the College Boulevard Activities Complex. The championship is slated for 11 a.m. on Nov. 10 from the complex in Olathe, Kan.
• Washburn's nine wins this season is the most since the Ichabods had 11 during the 2009 season.
• Other quarterfinal matches include No. 1 Central Missouri vs No. 8 seed Central Oklahoma; No. 2 Northeastern State vs No. 7 Emporia State; and No. 3 Southwest Baptist vs No. 6 Lindenwood.

(11/6/2013) TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabods remained unbeaten in their last three games as they played to a 0-0 double overtime tie with Nebraska-Kearney on Sunday afternoon in Yager Stadium.Â
Both team had 12 shots in the match, but the Ichabods were held without a shot in either of the overtime periods while the Lopers were able to get off two shots with one on goal in the first extra frame.
Tori Fuglister picked up the complete-game shutout for the Ichabods recording five saves in the match. The Lopers' Katelin Mielke had one save.
(11/3/2013) TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- The Washburn Ichabods were shutout in their regular season finale falling 2-0 at Northeastern State. Washburn finishes the regular season 9-8-1.Â
The team were tied at 0-0 at the break, but the RiverHawks Emily Voges scored her first goal of the season in the 54th minute. NSU added a second goal in the 78th minute stretching the lead to 2-0 enroute to the win.
Caysie Beetley had four shots to lead Washburn's attack.
Megan Buckley had two shots with one coming on goal. Overall the RiverHawks outshot the Ichabods 14 to 12 with a 6 to 4 advantage in shots on goal.
Tori Fuglister had four saves in net for Washburn.
Last Time in the MIAA Tournament for the Ichabods
(11/3/2007) WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Washburn soccer season came to an end after suffering a 1-0 loss to Truman.Â
Truman's Theresa Bauler scored the only goal of the match at the 16:27 mark unassisted to give the Bulldogs the 1-0 lead. Emily Roark picked up the shutout in goal for Truman without picking up a save.
Truman outshot Washburn 7-4 in the match. Danielle Ayala, Jessica Mainz, Manon Englehardt and Keeley Lambeth each had shot attempts for Washburn.
Jenny Persons took the loss in goal for Washburn allowing the solo goal picking up three saves.

The winner of the semifinals match ups will play in the championship game at 11 a.m. on Nov. 10 with the winner receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Soccer Tournament.
