The Washburn Ichabod tennis team looks to rebound from their first loss of the season at Durry last time out as they will face Ouachita Baptist on Feb. 9 in Bentonville, Ark. The Ichabods (1-1) won their opening match of the season 8-1 over Arkansas-Fort Smith.

Chance Joost was the only Ichabod to win all four of his matches in the opening weekend winning at No. 5 singles against Arkansas-Fort Smith and at No. 6 singles against Drury. He also won both doubles matches teaming with
Bobby Florence in a pair of wins over the weekend.
• This season as a team the Ichabods are 35-26 in singles matches going 7-5 in the two duals while collecting a 14-10 overall record in doubles play with a 3-3 in dual matches.

Bobby Florence leads the tam with seven singles wins so far this season.
• Both matches in Springfield are regional matches for the Ichabods as the match with Ouachita Baptist on Saturday.

Washburn will return to action on March 1 when they will take on Wichita State. Washburn will open its home slate against Southeastern Oklahoma at 11 a.m. at the Washburn Tennis Complex on March 2.
