The No. 38-ranked Washburn Ichabod will face two nationally-ranked opponents in three of their matches as they open the week with Emporia State on April 3. Washburn will then take on No. 24-ranked Midwestern State in non-conference action before returning to MIAA play hosting No. 49-ranked Nebraska-Kearney. Washburn is coming off an 8-1 exhibition win over Johnson County on March 26. Washburn's March 30th scheduled match with Southwest Baptist has been postponed until April 16 in the regular season finale.
Bods and ends . . .
• In addition to being ranked No. 38th in the late ITA rankings, the Ichabods are ranked No. 3 in the Central Region rankings behind Ouachita Baptist and Northwest Missouri. Southwest Baptist is ranked No. 4 and ranked fifth is Southeastern Oklahoma. East Central is ranked No. 6 and Nebraska-Kearney is ranked No. 7. Washburn has a 5-2 win over Southeastern Oklahoma and a 5-4 win over East Central.
• Washburn topped Johnson County 5-4 in exhibition play on March 26.
• The Ichabods are 1-0 in MIAA play after topping Lindenwood 8-1 on March 15.
• Emporia State is 7-8 and 0-3 in MIAA play this season. The Hornets are coming off a 7-2 loss to Truman and an 8-1 loss at Southwest Baptist the day before.
• Midwestern State is ranked No. 24 in the nation and 12-5 this season.
• The Mustangs are taking on St. Mary's (Texas) on Monday prior to facing the Ichabods.
• Nebraska-Kearney is ranked No. 49 in the nation and they are 11-7 this season and 0-3 in MIAA play.
• The Lopers will take on Concordia University on Wednesday this week before facing Truman on Friday, Emporia State on Saturday and the Ichabods on Sunday.
• The Ichabods have used seven different doubles line ups in the ten matches this season.
• This season as a team the Ichabods are 61-46 in singles matches going 33-25 in the ten duals while collecting a 29-19 overall record in doubles play with a 18-12 record in dual matches.

Bobby Florence and
Chance Joost are tied for the team lead with leads the team with 12 singles wins. Joost is 12-4 going 7-0 in dual matches at No. 6 singles while Florence is 12-6 in singles matches.
• Joost's eight wins are the most by any Ichabod in single dual matches this season.
