TOPEKA, Kan. -- The No. 38-ranked Washburn Ichabods rallied from a 2-1 deficit after doubles to defeat McPherson 5-4 on Saturday in Topeka. Washburn improves to 10-6 on the season while the Bulldogs fall to 19-6 on the year. Washburn will host William Jewell on Monday and then wrap up the regular season at Southwest Baptist on Tuesday.

Washburn's one point after doubles came from the team of Arek Kozaczuk and Steven Fletcher at No. 1 doubles. Washburn had singles wins by Thilo Schlenker at No. 2, Pascal Laucht and No. 3 and Fletcher at No. 4 singles. Dario Munoz-Poletti clinched the fifth win for the Ichabods with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles.
