TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Lady Blues tennis team picked up an 8-1 victory winning their second straight match over Missouri Western. Washburn will wrap up its home slate against William Jewell on Monday and then the regular season at Southwest Baptist on Tuesday.

Washburn led 3-0 at the break after doubles play and then the Lady Blues had singles wins by Sophie O'Neill, Casyn Buchman, Jodie Blackim, Gwen Shepler and Rachael Hageman to wrap up the 8-1 win.
