TOPEKA, Kan. -- The No. 38-ranked Washburn Ichabods beat the William Jewell College Cardinals in their regular season finale 6-3 to improve to 11-6 on the season in a 6-3 win. Washburn will wrap up the regular season on Tuesday at Southwest Baptist.

Washburn led 2-1 after doubles play as the duos of Chance Joost and Bobby Floreence picked up a 9-7 win over Bronson Brasel and Max Cooper. Pascal Laucht and Dario Munoz-Poletti won their match at No. 3 doubles 8-3 over Michael Wiskirchen and Jimmy Hunter.

In singles play, Washburn was the final four singles spots as Laucht won at No. 3, Fletcher won at No. 4 and Florence won at No. 5 in straight sets while Joost won his No. 6 match in a super tiebreaker.
