TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Lady Blues tennis team picked up an 8-1 over Fort Hays State on Saturday at the Washburn Tennis Complex. Washburn will have a quick turn around as they will host Nebraska-Kearney on Sunday morning starting at 10 a.m.

Washburn opened the match with three straight doubles wins. Washburn then won its singles matches at Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 securing the 8-1 win.
