TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabod soccer team fell 3-0 to No. 14-ranked Central Missouri on Friday night at Yager Stadium. Washburn returns to host Southwest Baptist on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Jennies jumped on the board in the 11th minute when Emily Eldridge scored her second goal of the season on a free kick from 45-yards out as Central Missouri took a 1-0 lead into the half.

Central added goals in the 56th and 58 minutes to push the score to 3-0. Hannah Pyle scored on an assist from Abby Rhodes off a throw in and Nicole Pone scored her first goal of the season unassisted from 10-yards out.

Washburn was outshot 14 to 9 in the match as they had seven shots on goal. Tori Fuglister had four saves in net for Washburn.

Caysie Beetley had four shots for Washburn and Bailey Wobig recorded the only shot on goal for the Ichabods.
