JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Ichabods didn't allow more than 16 points in a 25-12, 25-13, 25-16 win Saturday afternoon at Missouri Southern.

Tenth-ranked Washburn will return home to start a four-match home stand that will wrap up the regular season. The Bods host Pittsburg State at 7 p.m. on Friday at Schendel Court in Lee Arena.

Leanna Willer hit .550 with 14 kills to lead the offense.
Marissa Cox also hit .550 and had 12 kills.
Natalie Bates set Washburn's offense to a .404 attack percentage as she had 31 assists and snuck in five kills.
Korie Thompson had six kills and led the back row with six digs.

Washburn trailed 10-9 in the third set but later went on an 8-0 run to lead 20-12. The Ichabods finished the set scoring four of the last five points to clinch the match.

The Ichabods opened the match hitting .556 in the first set. They were up 18-7 before allowing fourth straight Lions points. Washburn responded by scoring eight of the last nine points to go up 1-0. The Bods also finished strong in the second set by scoring 10 of 11 to take a 2-0 lead.

The Lions (6-20, 3-15 MIAA) hit .090 as a team and were led by Katie Polite with 12 kills.
