TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team fell 7-2 to No. 36-ranked Northeastern State at the Washburn Tennis Complex. The Ichabods will host Emporia State on Wednesday.

Washburn was down 2-1 after doubles play. Sophie O'Neill and Gwen Shepler picked up a point after winning No. 2 doubles in a tiebreaker.

The Ichabods other point came at No. 6 singles when Shepler one her match in straight sets over Kate Nesbitt.
