TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team fell 5-4 to Rockhurst on Thursday at the Kossover Tennis Center. The Ichabods will leave on Saturday for a three-match trip to Florida.

Washburn picked up a win at No. 3 doubles as the team of Casyn Buchman and Nzingha Banks topped Alex Schelble and ABby Kayser 8-4. 

In singles action, Jodie Blackim won her match at No. 2 over Taylor Revling 6-4, 7-5 and Buchman won her match at No. 3 6-3, 6-1 over Fabi Juarez Herrera. Gwen Shepler topped Abby Kayser 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5 singles.
