• The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team will have its first action since Feb. 2 when they will have three matches in two days with two coming against MIAA schools starting March 7 when they will host #35 Northeastern State, #42 Central Oklahoma and #36 Cameron.
• Washburn has not played since a 5-4 win over East Central on Feb. 2 in Springfield, Mo.
Drop shots . . .
• The Ichabods are looking to make the NCAA Regional tournament for first time since the 2010 season and their 15th time overall.
• Washburn is ranked No. 10 in the ITA Central Regional rankings released on Nov. 4, 2013.
• The Ichabod netters were 22-33 overall in singles play while going 14-15 in doubles action.

Casyn Buchman had a team-high eight wins in singles play winning the Washburn Invitational. Buchman was also 10-1 in doubles play with
Jodie Blackim. The duo is ranked No. 5 in the ITA Central Regional rankings.
• Buchman is ranked at the No. 10 singles player in the central region by the ITA and she will join the tennis team at the end of the women's basketball team season.

The Ichabods will continue MIAA play with Emporia State on March 10 and then take on Rockhurst on March 13 in a non-conference match before leaving for Florida on March 17 to for three matches.
