KEARNEY, Neb. -- The Washburn Ichabod tennis team trailed 2-1 after doubles and could not receover as they lost 7-2 to Nebraska-Kearney. The Ichabods will be back in action on Monday at Newman.

Washburn's Marko Keulers and Thilo Schlenker topped Fletcher Sheridan and Justin Nguyen 8-1 at No. 3 doubles. In singles play the Ichabods' No. 1 player Arek Kozaczuk topped Yeswanth Nadella 2-6, 6-4, 6-2.
