HAYS, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabods topped the Fort Hays State Tiger tennis team 8-1 on Saturday afternoon in Hays. Washburn will return to play on April 16 against Missouri Western.

The Ichabods led 2-1 after doubles when Casyn Buchman and Jodie Blackim won their match at No. 1 and Nzingha Banks and Sophie O'Neill won their match at No. 3 doubles. Washburn picked up straight set wins by Buchman, Blackim, O'Neill, Maria Moral Carretero, Kirsten Holle and Gwen Shepler sweeping singles play.
