TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team was beat by #27 Southwest Baptist 7-2 in MIAA action at the Washburn Tennis Courts. The Ichabods will be back in action on Saturday when they will face Lincoln and Augustana.

Washburn's Nzingha Banks and Ashlynn Sutton won their match at No. 3 doubles over Paula Carvajeleno and Zorana Jovanovic 9-7. Gwen Shepler won her match at No. 5 singles over Carvajaleno 3-6, 6-4, 10-7 for the Ichabods' second point of the day.
