Season StatsKANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Washburn Ichabod women's team fell 6-3 at William Jewell in non-conference action on Monday. The Ichabods will continue their road trip at former MIAA foe Truman on Tuesday in Kirksville.
The Ichabods were down 2-1 after doubles play as the No. 1 team of Casyn Buchman and Jodie Blackim picked up an 8-3 win over Kristen Stivers and Katy Lehenbauer. Buchman won her singles match at No. 2 topping Savannah Drew 6-1, 6-3 and Maria Moral Carretero won her match at No. 4 singles in a tiebreaker taking the the match 1-6, 6-4, 10-8.
