Opening Notes• The Washburn Ichabods return to the MIAA Tournament after a year hiatus as they will travel to Warrensburg, Mo., to face the regular season champion Central Missouri Jennies on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
• The Ichabods are coming off a 1-1 weekend where they topped Emporia State 1-0 before losing to Fort Hays State on Sunday 1-0.
• The Ichabods have five ties this season which is one shy of tying the school single season record for ties of six set in 2006. The MIAA record for ties in a season is also six set three times.
• The Ichabods are 0-2-1 in the MIAA Tournament. The MIAA has had a soccer tournament following the 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 seasons. The Jennies have won three of those last winning the title in 2014.
• The Ichabods reached the MIAA Tournament semifinals in 2013 after beating Nebraska-Kearney 4-2 in penalty kicks in the first round match in Topeka before falling to Central Oklahoma.
• Washburn has never faced the Jennies in the MIAA Tournament.
'Bod's and Ends• The Ichabods have scored 15 goals in 18 matches this season after scoring only eight goals in 18 matches in 2014.
• The Ichabods are being outshot 226 to 152 this season and 15 to 11 in overtime. Last season in 2014, Washburn attempted only 143 shots while being outshot 305.

Kaitlin Minnich has recorded 82 saves and a .804 save percentage in her first 18 collegiate starts playing all 1,738 minutes this season in net for the Ichabods.

• Swanson's four goals are the most by a freshman since Tia Stovall recorded four during the 2009 season. Stovall also added eight assists that season as well leading the team with 16 points.
• The 82 saves by Minnich are seventh on the Ichabod single season chart and the 4.56 saves per match are ninth and the .804 save percentage is sixth as is her 1.04 goal against average. Minnich also has five shutouts this season, which is tied for fourth on the single season chart.
Noting Central Missouri
• The Jennies are ranked No. 9 nation and 14-4-2 this season and won the MIAA regular season championship with a 9-1-1 record.
• The Jennies have allowed six goals this season while scoring 55 in 18 matches.
• Julie Ireland leads the team with 12 goals and Megan Wolley has 10 goals and one assist.
• Ana Dilkes has a 0.28 goal against average allowing five goal collecting 59 saves in 1580 minutes in net.
• The Jennies have not allowed a first half goal this season outscoring opponents 23-0.
Series history with Central Missouri• The Jennies lead the all-time series 16-5-1 and have won the last eight in the series.
• Washburn's last win was on Sept. 24, 2009 in a 1-0 win in Topeka.
• Washburn is 2-10 in matches played in Warrensburg.
Last meeting with Central Missouri(Sept. 27, 2015) WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Washburn Ichabod soccer team held the No. 1-ranked Central Missouri Jennies scoreless for the first 74 minutes of the match but it was not enough as they fell in a hard-fought 1-0 loss.
The Jennies scored what would be the winning goal in the 74th minute when Julie Ireland scored her eighth goal of the season on a cross from Abby Rhodes and Jada Scott to put Central Missouri up 1-0 for the only goal of the match breaking the scoreless tie.
The match was tied at the half as the Jennies outshot the Ichabods 8 to 1. In the second half, the Ichabods were outshot 17-0 as Ichabod goalkeeper
Kaitlin Minnich recorded seven saves in the match facing 25 shots.
Bailey Wobig recorded the lone shot for the Ichabods in the match.

Chris Jones is 5-8-5 in his first season at Washburn and is only the second coach in the program's history since 2003.
• Jones spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Fort Hays State where the Tigers went 20-13-5 coaching 11 all-MIAA picks.
• Prior to joining the Tigers, he was president and coach of the University of Oklahoma's men's club team.
