BOLIVAR, Mo. -- The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team lost 7-2 to the No. 19-ranked Southwest Baptist Bearcats on Monday in Bolivar. The Ichabods will return to MIAA play on Wednesday at Nebraska-Kearney.

Washburn's No. 3 duo of Nzingha Banks and Maria Moral Carretero picked up an 8-4 win over Beatrix Federer and Zorana Jovanovic. The Ichabods' other point came at No. 6 singles when the Bearcats forfeited a point not placing a player in the draw.
