TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabod men's tennis team topped the Baker Wildcats 8-1 on Friday at the Washburn Tennis Complex. The Ichabods will return to action on Saturday against Missouri-St. Louis. 

Washburn opened the match sweeping doubles play as Blake Hunter and Matt Barlow won their match at No. 1 doubles 8-4. The No. 2 team of Trey Horton and Martin Wieand won their match 8-4 and Dario Munoz-Poletti and Todd Rillinger won their match at No. 3 doubles 8-3.

The Ichabods won five of six singles match all in staight sets as Wieand, Hunter, Barlow, Horton and Munoz-Poletti all picked up victories.
