Jumping out to a 12-1 advantage, the Ichabods controlled the tempo early and never looked back as they outscored the Aggies 29-10 in the first quarter. Washburn maintained its sizable advantage during the second lead OPSU 43-23 at the break.

In the third, the Ichabods doubled their advantage to 72-28 as Oklahoma Panhandle accounted for just five of the 34 points tallied in the period before Washburn closed out the night with an 87-42 win.

Alyxis Bowens led Washburn offense with a game-high 18 points and nine rebounds.
Jharian Bowen and
Erin Dohnalek followed with 12 points apiece.
Macy Myers and
Erika Lane also chipped in with nine points, while Reagan Phelen netted eight.

Washburn returns to action on Monday when it hosts NAIA power Benedictine at 7 p.m.
