• The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team will open the 2016 portion of its schedule on Feb. 5 when they will travel to Springfield, Mo., to face the No. 15-ranked Drury Panthers.
• The following the day the Ichabods will take on McKendree University.
• The Ichabods will look to snap a four-match losing streak to the Panthers. Washburn's only win in the series came on Feb. 5, 2011 in a 6-3 win in Springfield.
• The Ichabods have never faced McKendree.
Drop shots . . .
• The Ichabods won their only dual match of the season in a 9-0 win over William Jewell on Sept. 19.

Jennifer Krause leads the team with five singles wins from the fall while
Gwen Shepler and
Ashlynn Sutton both have four.
• In doubles, the team of
Ally Burr and
Jodie Blackim combined for four wins and
Gwen Shepler and
Maggie Plum were undefeated going 3-0.
• Statistically speaking, the Ichabods were a combined 30-28 (.517) in singles play in the fall and 17-12 (.586) in doubles action.
Coaching . . .
Former Ichabod tennis player
Lance Lysaught is in his second season as the Ichabod women's head coach. He is 16-31 as a collegiate head coach in his fourth season and 10-13 at Washburn.
