• The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team returns to MIAA play with two matches this week starting on Wednesday with Emporia State at the Washburn Tennis Complex. Washburn will then travel to Lindenwood on Saturday.
• Washburn enters the match with a 4-4 record after going 0-2 in a pair of matches in Florida.
• Washburn leads the all-time series with Emporia State 30-21, but ESU has won the last two.
• The Ichabods and Lion are tied 2-2 in four all-time meetings and Washburn won last season in Topeka 8-1.

Lance Lysaught is in his second season as the Ichabod women's head coach. He is 19-35 as a women's collegiate head coach in his fourth season and 8-18 at Washburn.

The Ichabods will return to the court at Northwest Missouri on March 28 and then face Rockhurst on March 30 and Illinois Springfield on April 1. Washburn will then have home matches with McPherson on April 3, Nebraska-Kearney on April 5, at Missouri Western on April 7 and back at home on April 9 against Fort Hays State.
