MARYVILLE, Mo. -- The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team lost 7-2 at Northwest Missouri on Monday afternoon. Washburn returns to action on Wednesday when they will play host to Rockhurst at the Washburn Tennis Complex.

Washburn was up 2-1 after doubles play when Ally Burr and Jodie Blackim topped Lorena Rivas Jarolim and Vilune Sestokaite 9-7 at No. 1 doubles and Laura Shkembi and MaKenna Gonzales 8-5 at No. 3 doubles.

However the Ichabods were swept in singles play leading to the win for Northwest Missouri.
