MARYVILLE, Mo. -- The No. 25 Washburn Ichabod men's tennis team fell 7-2 to No. 16-ranked Northwest Missouri on Monday in Maryville. Washburn returns to action on Wednesday at the Washburn hosting Rockhurst.

Washburn fell behind 3-0 after doubles action and the Ichabods picked up wins at No. 1 singles when Alejandro Valarezo Plaza topped No. 49-ranked Romain Boissinot 6-0, 6-2. Washburn's other point came at No. 6 singles when Dario Munoz-Poletti defeated Aymeric Autones 3-6, 7-5, 10-7.
