• The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team will step out of MIAA play for a pair of matches as they will travel to Illinois-Springfield on April 1 and then return to the Washburn Tennis Complex to face McPherson on April 3.
• Washburn enters the match with a 5-6 record.
• It will be the first meeting with the Illinois-Springfield Prairie Stars who enter the match with a 6-8 overall record.
• McPherson is 3-3 and the Ichabods lead the series 6-1 and have won the last five meetings.

Jennifer Krause leads the team with eight singles wins while
Gwen Shepler has seven and
Jodie Blackim,
Whitney Holloman and
Holly Johnston all have six.
• The Ichabods have used 13 different doubles combinations this season.

Jodie Blackim's 66 career doubles wins is tied for ninth all-time at Washburn and with eight more this season she can move into the top five all-time.

Lance Lysaught is in his second season as the Ichabod women's head coach. He is 20-37 as a women's collegiate head coach in his fourth season and 9-20 at Washburn.
