TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team was blanked by Rockhurst in a non-conference match on Tuesday at the Washburn Tennis Complex. The Ichabods will resume play this week on Friday hosting No. 16-ranked Northeastern State.

Washburn, who fell to 8-8 on the season, was down 3-0 after doubles after the No. 1 (Ally Burr and Jodie Blackim) and No. 3 (Laura Shkembi and MaKenna Gonzales) teams lost 8-6.

In singles, the Hawks (8-5) picked up wins in all six flights in straight sets leading to the 9-0 win.
